Vibe Union - Tones

A Melbourne video and event series showcasing local talent to an international audience.

“What does Melbourne sound like?”

Who are we? - Vibe Union

Vibe Union is a small volunteer creative collective that, for the past three years, has been building a platform for local artists to showcase their work. We host live events, video series, podcasts, publish books, and more.

All of this is done by our own steam, with a strong drive to do anything we can to help build the local music and creative scene.

What is ‘Tones’?

Tones is a video and event series that we are running to record, video, and platform local talent. It is a chance for artists to showcase their work in a professional light and find new audiences.

Our goal with this series is to create a one-stop destination for locals to discover their new favourite artist and for international viewers to see what Melbourne represents creatively.

Tones is being recorded at Ringo Barr in Brunswick, Vic.

Why are we seeking sponsorship?

Vibe Union is a passion project. We’ve been running this group for three years now, with nearly non-existent cash flow. We do it because we love it and love the scene. But obviously, not having any financial backing limits our growth greatly.

We want to pay artists more, pay for marketing and hire more talented photographers, sound techs etc to make Vibe Union bigger and better. Any amount of money makes an enormous difference.

Sponsoring Tones

What can we offer, and what are we looking for?

What can we offer?

We are excited to add sponsorships to this project to add credibility to the series and help fund its growth. What we are looking to offer is:

-Brand logo and name on every video, at the start and end.

-Printed material at the event

-Brand thanked as a sponsor at the event by the MC

-Social media ‘shout outs’

What are we wanting from brands?

We are a small collective, currently funded extremely modestly by Patrons on Patreon. Any contribution to our events, be it financial or otherwise, is a huge help.

We’re keen to work with brands to figure out what works for both us and them. A few hundred dollars can go a long way for us, and even a small contribution to the project will get you all we can offer in terms of branding opportunities, but obviously larger sponsorship deals with be greatly appreciated and will help elevate the project.
