And no this is not an April Fools Day joke because we're not here to f*ck spiders. Vibe Union are so excited to be bringing the launch of Maxwell Brady’s gorgeous album “Electric Troubadour” to the Workers Club! 

After a string of wonderfully psychedelic and jangly singles, Maxwell Brady Band is about to drop the full project, Electric Troubadour. The album takes us on bus rides through magical landscapes, sweet ballads for loved ones, and musings on creativity, happiness, and all manner of mysteries the world gives us.

Come watch this line up of ten fantastic comics dive into their experiences, their lives and what it's like to feel like an alien when someone says 'fair dinkum'. If you pressure them enough, you might even convince them to do a shoey. Bring some mates, get your giggles out and come watch some comedy by people who are sick of being asked where they're from. Kelsey Jean & The Bad Health are stoked to be kicking off the new year with a special performance at the wonderful Ringo Barr! Come hang out with us for a night of psych-rock, folk and indie in this unique and beautiful record store in Brunswick. Kelsey and the gang have been crafting some new tunes over the summer, and in this intimate space will be telling new stories among old friends.

Supporting us on the night is the incredible songstress Cari Sharl, whose dynamic and energetic one-woman show will blow you away!

We would like to acknowledge that this performance will be taking place on stolen land, land that has been looked after and respected for the last 65,000 years by the Wurundjeri and the Woi-wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to elders past and present and hope to find a way through our shared history to create a better future for us all.

This night, we dedicate to the Palestinian people whom are undergoing a current genocide. We invite to this platform, all those effected by it here in Naarm. We will gather donations and donate money ourselves to the Gaza Crisis Appeal.
