About this Book:
The works contained within 'Sad Girl on a Mic' are a meander through ten years of poetry, which all really began in grade three, when Ms. Steck commented on one red English class journal's prolific use of dangling participles, dropped articles, and the patented 'enjambment to avoid thinking about whether comma or full stop or semi-colon is most appropriate' method. This style overall was given a name in one short remark: ‘You know this is called poetry, right?’
